Antigua: Two West Indies Cricketers – Chinelle Henry and Nation Chedan – Fainted briefly in the field in two separate incidents during the second international T20 against Pakistan here and taken to the hospital where they were “stable”, according to the “stable” report.
The two incidents occurred during pursuit of Pakistan, who also saw rain disorders on Friday.
“(Yang Bowler) Chinelle Henry and (dough) of the Chedean nation were taken to hospital for medical attention.
Both Henry and the nation conscious and stable in the hospital and assessed,” CWI said in a statement.
West Indies brought two substitutes and games to continue, with the home team finally stated the winner with seven runs on Duckworth-Lewis-stern after other disorders.
“It’s not too easy in that condition and situation.
I am only happy that the team can go beyond the line for both women who are not with us, and we just wait for all that information we can get,” Head coach Hindney Westney Walsh quoted by Espncricinfo.
“They have full support and we will arrange it too.” Pakistani captain Javeria Khan hopes West Indies will pair rapid recovery.
“The mind and prayer of all Pakistani teams with Chinelle Henry and Nation Chedean,” he said in a statement.
“We hope they are fast recovery and hope that we will play against them in the next match on Sunday.” Such incidents are tragic and can shake the entire dressing room.
