Mangaluru: The State Minister for Agriculture and Welfare of Farmers Shobha Karandlaje on Thursday joined farmers to grow rice in Tanah Bera in Kadekar Village in Udupi District on Thursday.
The trust of the Kingotthana, led by Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, has set a goal to change 1,500 hectares of Tanah Bera in the Udupi district into rice fields.
