Data from the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) has revealed a motif survey that insight behind the murder case in the state.
Family disputes emerged as the main reason behind murder in the state, another motive behind the murder was above the property and land dispute.
In addition to family disputes and property, the state also recorded 67 cases of mating deaths, 66 due to affairs of love, and 42 due to illegal relationships.
In fact, only 44 cases the cause of murder is unknown or no instructions can be found.
Data also shows that murder has increased in Rajasthan for three years.
The country recorded a total of 1,719 murders last year, compared with 1,659 in 2019 and 1,508 in 2018.
Rajasthan was sixth in the list of NCRB murder cases in this country.
The sharp increase in 2020 was still uncertain because the country had experienced locking in the early months of last year and the curbs lasted for several months including night hours.
An official claimed that in some cases part 302 (killing) IPC was submitted a few days later after death.
“There are cases where family members submit cases both directly and through tribula complaints, allegating that their type of death is a murder case,” the official said, adding that the Rajasthan police did not pressure any complaints.
