Water, meat placed for lusting tiger caught in the warehouse

Coimbatore: The Ministry of Forestry, who has tried to capture the leopard who was trapped in a warehouse in BK Pudur in Kuniyamuthur for the past three days, has adopted a new strategy.
The official had placed the meat and water on two cages attached to the door failed to lure the animal.
“We have placed water cans on the cage, from where water drips into the container inside the cage.
We remove the dogs placed as bait at home and place meat and chicken instead,” said the US District Forest officer Ashok Kumar.
The animal was arrested in six CCTV cameras in the warehouse several times, the official said.
“It looks healthy and calm.
But it can’t survive without water for days and will be able to get to the cage,” Kumar added.
