Water purification plants are launched in 2 Delhi schools

New Delhi: Delhi Jal Board (DJB) Deputy Chairperson of Raghav Chadha on Sunday The Water Purification Factory inaugurated was able to issue 500 liters of water every hour in two schools here.
In accordance with DJB statements, reverse osmosis plants (RO) in senior Girls, F Block, Inderpuri and Sarvodaya Kanya Vidayalaya, C blocks, Narina Vihar, will meet the demand for drinking water around 11,000 people.
“This RO plant has the capacity to purify and issue 500 liters of water every hour, which will bring new hope for students, teachers and non-teaching staff in both schools.
There will be around 11,000 individuals, whose thirst will extinguish non-defined -stop at Both schools every day, “Chadha said.
CEO of Tata Power-DDL Ganesh Srinivasan and TPTCL CEO Amit Garg is also present during the inauguration program.
Chadha said this RO plant “will be able to erase many solutes efficiently, but produces good drinking water”.
“This RO plant works on a 60:40 model that will ensure the use of the best and most optimal drinking water.
Under this model, 60 percent is drinking water and 40 percent of wastewater which is further used for rainwater harvest holes,” said the statement.
Chadha said it was important to ensure the health and cleanliness of children when schools reopened.
“Tata power-DDL has installed 83 of RO plants to date at educational institutions, JJ clusters (slums), Delhi Metro Station, serving people of 3.78 lakh every day,” he added.
