New Delhi: Water supply will not be available in several regions in Southwest Delhi until September 20 because of disruption in the underground reservoir Dichaon Kalan due to heavy rain, Jal Delhi’s council said on Wednesday.
Residents can call a pulse-free number – 18001217744 and 8527995818 – to order water tankers.
“Water will not be available through pipes until September 20 tentatively until the repairs are complete.
Until then, water will be available for residents via tanker,” DJB said in a statement.
The affected area is Gopal Nagar, Lokesh Park, Dichaon Village, Mitraon Village, Caira Village, Surakhpur, Shiv Enclave, Hira Park, Najafgarh Park, Nirmal Vihar, Gupta Market, Aggarwal Colony, Ekta Vihar, Krisha Vihar and Shri Krishan Colony.
Water supply has also been disturbed at Aradhna Enclave, Baba Haridass Nagar, Baba Haridass Colony, Saink Enclave, Naveen Palace, Vinobha Enclave and Extension, Surya Kunj and Sarswati Kunj, Jharoda Village, Mahesh Garden, Jakarta and Satyam Puram and Satyam groups of cooperies .
