New Delhi: Delhi Jal Board (DJB) Deputy Chair of Raghav Chadha on Friday said the water level in the Wazirabad pool, one of the most important reservoirs in the capital, has increased from 667 feet to 674.5 feet, with Haryana releasing legitimate share in the city It’s water.

DJB together with Delhi people – finally managed to force Haryana to let go of the legitimate part of the Delhi water in Yamuna, up to 16,000 cusecs,” he tweeted.
“As a result, all our water treatment plants now operate at the optimal level, and @Delhijal function 24×7 to clean, filter & supply water to every household in Delhi,” Chadha said.
Now, the Wazirabad pool is full, the water level is back at 674.5 FT because it is against 667 feet.
Things are normalized, he added.
Water from the Wazirabad pool was withdrawn for treatment at Wazirabad, Okhla and Chandrawal care plants.
Water treated and then supplied to Central, South and West Delhi.
