Water Thane Supply Beaten as Bhatsa River Overflows, Chokes Pump

Thane: Without a pause from intense rainfall since Sunday, the Bhatsa River in the Thane Maharashtra District overflowed on Monday morning, adding to Thanekars’ misery.
Along with flood water, grass and leaves from around the river also appeared and choked the water pump filter installed in Pise Village, where water was supplied throughout Thane.

Officials also asked people to store water and use it saving for the next few days and boil water before consuming it.
Thane had witnessed the rainfall of unrelenting for the past 24 hours, resulting in a puddle of water and accidents in several regions.
Guess trees and wall collapse have been reported from the city, but there have been no casualties.
The locals have been warned for exploring near the body of the water and stepping out of their homes without emergencies.
