Coimbatore: Gang Four member Waylaid A resident tendrils and seizes it 3,000 and cellphones at Muthugoundenpudur-tulur road on Thursday night.
The injured person was identified as G Radhakrishnan, 53, from the KS Park in Sengathurai, a transportation company officer.
“After finishing the work, he was on his way to his home on a motorcycle when he saw two motorbikes lying in Pudhunagar Bridge around 10pm.
When he got off his vehicle, four people surrounded him and attacked him with sickles and wood.
They took goods – Valuables and escaped from the place, “said a police officer.
Passersby rushed Radhakrishnan to a private hospital in tulur.
Sulur police have registered a case.
