Mumbai: Dismissed Mumbai Police Officer Sachin Waze, Perdana was accused of fear of ‘Antilia’ bombs and Mensukh Hiran’s murder case, has transferred a request before the National Investigation Agency Court (NIA) here looking for permission to shift from the hospital in Bhiwandi in Bhiwandi District Thane, Where he currently admits, to the hospital in Mumbai.
In the application submitted on Tuesday, Waze looked for instructions from a special court to shift him to the hospital in Mumbai for his care and surgery, said a defense lawyer, added that Waze’s request would be heard on Thursday.
The Nia Court on August 30 brought Waze, which was dismissed from the service as the Assistant Police Inspector (API), to be accepted at a private hospital for care for heart disease after he said he did not want to be “another Stan Swamy”.
