WB: 11 was injured when the bus hit the pillar in Kolkata

Kolkata: At least 11 people were injured on Wednesday when a private bus that had quickly hit the distribution pillar in the eastern part of the city, a police officer said.
The bus driver – who was heading to City Science – somehow lost control of the wheel near the Pragati Maidan area and crashed into one of the pillars of ‘Maa Flyover’, he said.
All passengers were injured, mostly office visitors, rushed to the nearest hospital, the officer said.
The vehicle was confiscated by the police and the team officers were looking for drivers who fled the point after the accident, he added.
