This year, each of the consortium law schools arranged the exam in their own zone.
National Juridical Science Bengal Bengal Barat organizes exams in the state.
2,400 candidates from the country have registered for the exam here.
A little more than 75,000 registered candidates from all over the country.
“This year we changed the format and brought paragraph-based analytical questions that require critical thinking before answering.
We got rid of computer-based tests because last year there were some disorders and we got a complaint,” said Chancellor Nujs representative, Nirmal Chakraborty.
In the city, Sister Nivedita University, Aliah University, Engineering University and Management and Techno India University, are four centens for exams.
Four other centers are at Barasat, Barrackpore, Hooghly and Siliguri.
The test was originally scheduled for May but was postponed because of the pandemic situation.
“We don’t expect general knowledge questions to come from not so new business.
But, it’s easy to deal with English, logical reasoning and legal transition,” said Basan Basu Roy, a la Martiniere for student daughters, who wrote a test.
