WB: BJP does not fight Sushmita TMC at Bypolls Hospital

Kolkata: BJP on Monday said it would not involve a candidate in the Sabha’s Rajya poll that will come in Bengal, paving the way for the Trinamool Congress Candidate, Sushmita Dev to be elected uncommon.
Dev submitted his nomination for the October 4th poll to the top house.
In fact, before he submitted a nomination, BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari tweeted on Monday that “BJP will not nominate candidates for Rajya Sabha Bypoll because in West Bengal.
The results have been determined before”.
“Our focus is to ensure that un elected cm must not be selected once more,” he added, turning his attention to the time from the Bypoll RS to Bypoll Bhowanipore where Minister of Mamata Banerjee was a trinamool candidate.
Adhikari’s tweet took Barbs directly from the Bengal Parliament Minister Partha Chatterjee, who urged the former to step out of Twitter to fight the battle of the poll “on the field”.
As happened to Jawhar Sircar, Dev will also have a smooth hallway to Rajya Sabha because Trinamool is much faster than BJP in the Bengal Assembly when it comes to one vacancy on one vacancy.
That will apply to the third hospital candidate too.
The powerful Trinamool, under the current party representatives in the Assembly, will continue to enjoy the monopoly in the Sabha’s chair from the state if the Election Commission announces the selection of vacancies created due to the resignation of candidates.
The poll panel has announced the RS election against vacancies made after Dinesh Trivedi placed in his letters before joining BJP, and then after Manas Bahunia resigned from the hospital as soon as he won the Assembly poll and became the Minister of Water Resources Management.
The election to the second job will be held in October.
The EC has not announced the election to the third vacancy made after Arpita Ghosh resigned.
Speculation over Babul Supriyo or former Finance Minister Union Yashwant Sinha gets Trinamool tickets to Rajya Sabha has been full after Arpita Ghosh resigns to spend more time in organizational work.
Speaking after submitting a nomination, Dev said his first target was Tripura 2023 assembly polls.
“For now, Tripura’s assembly poll comes first.
So, this is my first target,” he said.
Dev will leave for Tripura on Tuesday, in front of the party Secretary General of the Abhishek Banerjee Party at Agartala.
He said: “People in Tripura believe in Mamata Banerjee.
This has been further supported by my nomination to parliament.
This is associated with Tripura.
We are ready for the battle for Tripura.”
