Kolkata: Apart from several sporadic incidents, voting in the four assembly constituencies in West Bengal passed peacefully.
In relatively low vote, Santipur in Nadia recorded the highest of 76.1 percent and Khardha recorded the lowest 63.9 percent.
In a long time of voting, a controversy erupted when the BJP candidate in Khardah Joy Saha caught someone who accused that he tried to give a wrong voice.
The incident in Bandipur in Khardah immediately triggered tensions when the supporters of the Trinamool Congress began to provide a slogan and this encouraged the central forces to use Lathi-Charge which resulted in injury to Aryadeep Sinha, son of Larta Kajal Sinha.
Congress Candidate Trinamool Sovondeb Chattopadhyay said, “Nothing is this kind.
BJP candidates try to create a disruption and central forces and personal security from BJP candidates using lathi costs.
Our supporters are injured in the process”.
BJP candidate Joy Saha has denied the allegations.
Election Commission, however, look for reports from district judges.
Chattopadhyay accused the excess of the central strength since morning.
“The agents were told that if they wore a badge then they would not be allowed inside the booth.
This is my eighth selection and I know the rules are better than strength.
If the badge is in my name with a party symbol, then they cannot be stopped,” said Chattopadhyay.
“The voters were also told that if they did not have a double vaccine then they would not be allowed in the booth.
It’s strange.
How can they dictate a term like this? The only job they are seeing whether there are problems outside the booth.
Technical specifications will be handled by officers chairman.
I have submitted a complaint with the Election Commission, “Chattopadhyay added.
However, Dinhata in Coochbehar recorded a percentage of polling 69.9 and Gosaba in 24 South Parginas district recorded a poll of 75.9 percent.
BJP candidates in Santipur Niranjan Biswas accused voters not allowed out of their homes to use their franchise.
“Some of our supporters were threatened so they did not go to the voting station.
Trinamool congress thugs force them to stay in the room.
I have submitted a complaint with the Election Commission,” Biswas said.
But high-ranking officials said they saw a problem but no one was found substantial.
“Polling continues peacefully in the current electoral district,” the official said.
The election election commission has made a broad arrangement for Bypolls and mobilized 92 units of central police forces, where 8 companies will be maintained to count days on November 2.
