WB: Car runs Across leopard in Alipurduar

KOLKATA: A manhunt was detained for two individuals who allegedly attempted to flee with all the carcass of a leopard since it expired after being struck by their automobile from West Bengal’s Alipurduar district, officials said Friday.
The full-grown leopard had been run by the MUV to a street near Jaldapara refuge on Thursday, ” he said.
People from the vehicle took the carcass and hauled off but the authorities on obtaining a tip-off stopped them after a couple of kilometres, officials explained.
On the other hand, the duo fled after being discontinued, leaving the vehicle behinda forest officer said.
The carcass was discovered at the boot of the vehicle, ” he explained.
The registration plate of the vehicle was lost, but police was able to follow the owner of the car and determine the duo that are on the run,” the official stated.
The carcass was afterwards handed over to the Forest Department.
