Kolkata: A team of West Bengal Commission officials for the protection of children’s rights (WBCPCR) met with grade 3 students in Salkia in Howrah and recorded his statement about how a private tutor allegedly poured liquid wax in his thigh because he did not do his homework.
Ananya Chakraborty, chairman of the commission, said they had written to district judges and police commissioners to ensure the most stringent punishment for adequate men and compensation and counseling for eight-year-old boys who were still in trauma.
“This is a surprising incident and we demanded the most stringent punishment for the man,” Chakraboty said.
The incident occurred on August 14.

He was angry and asked for a candle and spatula from his mother.
Then, the mother heard the child shouted and the teacher ran out of a hurry,” said a police officer .
The woman found a traumatic child and writhed in pain even when some blisters appeared on their arms and legs.

“The child is still in trauma and almost no speaking.
