Kolkata: The direction of the University Grant Commission that universities and colleges can continue to admit to students to fill empty seats in UG courses for another month after the deadline of September 30 comes as a relief to the principal and representative of the National College Chancellor and State University.
Last year, the receipt was started in the first week of August and continued until January 202 because of college and university failed to fill the chair.
This year, documents such as Mark Sheets and other testimonials can be submitted until December 31.
UGC publishes the academic calendar on Friday.
“It will bring a relief because in the last two years we have witnessed how to fill a few weeks takes a few weeks.
This time, we only have two months to invite the application, publish a list of merit and receive acceptance.
With UGC it makes it possible to fill empty seats until October 31 , We will have one more month, “said the head of the South Kolkata School.
Universities and colleges must restore all quantities if a student cancels receipt or migrating to higher education or other universities if done in October 31.
RS 1,000 processing costs will be deducted if students cancel acceptance between November 1 and December 31.
“This has been done by considering financial difficulties faced by several families because of the pandemic,” said the headmaster.
