Kolkata: Forums for Durgotsab have asked the Puja organizers to reduce celebrations in views of the pandemic and have compiled a list of safety measures they want the state of the state and the Puja Committee to be implemented during this year’s Puja Durga as a precaution of Covid -19.
The list of safety measures includes full vaccination of organizers, regulating the vaccination of workers establishing a pandal, installing lights and performing other tasks, reducing celebrations to avoid large crowds and pandal planning with proper ventilation.
Forums for Durgotsab, Body Umbrella Organizers Durga Puja in the City and District, will share a list of steps with the government immediately.
“Safeguard against Covid-19 is our priority and it will not be compromised.
