Canning: a 29-year-old woman arrested and heroin worth Rs 1 Crore was confiscated from her ownership in the South Pargana district of West Bengal on Thursday, police said.
Acting on the tip-off, the police arrested the woman from the area of the police station Jibantala and won 2kg from the contrabanded goods from ownership, an officer said.
His identity and existence was revealed by another woman who was arrested last month, he said, adding that a manhunt was launched to capture other gang members.
