Kolkata: Joint Entering Examination (JEE) will be held on April 23 next year, said the notification issued by the entrance examination board with West Bengal on Friday.
Notification, signed by the Chairperson of the West Bengal Bengal Entrance, Malayidu Saha, said that they would conduct an OMR-based entry-based test on April 23, 2022 to enter undergraduate programs in the fields of engineering and technology, pharmaceutical and architecture at the universities State managed and government universities and self-financing techniques and technology institutions in Bengal for 2022-23 academic sessions.

The exam will be offline, with all Covid safety steps in place.
The exam routine will be stated later, even though it is said that the physics test, chemistry and mathematics will be scheduled in two shifts.
Board officials decided the final date for the joint entry exam after consultation with the state government.
Last year, Wbjee was carried out on July 17, when more than 92,000 candidates appeared for examinations, which were physically carried out.
The entrance exam was originally scheduled to be held on July 11, but the date was suspended by six days due to Covid pandemics.
