Kolkata: When the positivity counts in the city records a temporary marginal decline in Covid cases as a whole in the country remains above 19,000-mark and doctors continue to advise, the state government stepping on a fine line on Saturday, expanding Covid limitations until January 31 when possible Relaxation is calibrated for ceremonies and exhibitions given the wedding season and various winter exhibitions that support thousands of livelihoods in the rural Bengal.
When attendance at social, religious and cultural meetings is limited to 50 people at a time, for weddings, it has now been upgraded to 200 people at a time or capacity of 50% of the hall, which is lacking.
