Kolkata: The death toll of Covid-19 West Bengal rose to 18,393 with 10 more deaths, while 708 new cases pushed the calculation to 1544,817, a bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
The country now has 9,185 active cases, and 15,17,239 patients have recovered from the disease so far, including 730 since Tuesday, he said.
One day death included four deaths in Pargana Nadia and North.
Kolkata and 24 parganas 24 reported the number of new cases (respectively), said the bulletin.
As many as 1.67,73,319 samples were tested in West Bengal for Covid-19 so far, he added.
