Wb: ‘Save bridge courses from class I to VIII ready’

Kolkata: West West West Bengal Secondary Education Council on Friday released 2022 academic calendars attached to the 230-day routine that began in January.
The decision came after the school education department asked the Expert Committee to keep bridge courses from class I to VIII ready at the end of this month.
Both steps, experts are shown, is the timeline to reopen the junior section in phase.
Everything nod will allow all schools to follow it.
According to the academic calendar released, around 65 holidays have been given in addition to the weekend.
About 18 days are usually set aside for summative examinations that leave the usual 230-day teaching routine.
Previously, Minister of State Education Bratya Basu has indicated that the government plans to reopen the Junior from Class I to VIII step by step after reviewing the Covid situation in the state.
The Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee has repeatedly urged the central guidelines on vaccination for children, especially the school audience.
Toi has reported that after preparing bridge course material for class IX to XII, the school education department moves in preparing bridge courses for class I to VIII.
These books will be distributed to students in the new academic year starting from January.
The purpose of the bridge offer is to fill the learning gap for almost two years produced from the closure of the campus during the Covid pandemic.
Course material has prepared a three-month learning to be taught until the first summative evaluation.
After completing the learning course of bridge for three months students will be taught to the actual class syllabus they learn.
Nearly 16 Lakh books will be printed for each class and for each subject at the primary level.
More than 13 Lakh books will be printed for each class from VIII to VIII.
