Kolkata: Higher secondary results, stated on Thursday, proved mixed bags with an increase in the success rate of 11% against last year but a 70% decrease in the number of students who had scored above 90%.
The results also increased hope in the field of playing levels for ISC and CBSE XII candidates.
Last year’s escape signs have surrounded the pitch for them during college acceptance.
Last year, the HS Council had signed a 100% sign in all paper canceled due to a pandemic.
Madhyamic results, stated on Tuesday, further increases anxiety because all students have passed and a record of 70% of students have scored above 90%.
However, this year, the formula was adopted by the council to calculate the results that caused mode of the sign, with 9,013 candidates securing 90% and above.
Last year, this figure was 30,220.
In 2019 – when the exam was held as usual – 7,818 students have scored 90% or more.
This year, there is no written test.
Unlike last year, however, a full sign was not distributed.
Conversely, the Board designed the formula which was taken into account in the Madhyamic score, the results of class XI and the project and the XII class practical score.
This causes a more “realistic” assessment, some teachers feel.
Like last year, the Board did not publish the appropriate list.
But there are 86 candidates in Top 10.
Topper – Rumana Sultana from Kandi, Murshidabad – scoring 499 from 500, losing one sign in physics.
He came fifth in Madhyamik.
The Mahua Das council president described this as a “first achievement of a girl from a minority community”.
The list of top-10 goals scorers is not distributed publicly but the source says there are at least four students from the city in the order of power: two boys from Hindu schools and boys and girls from Pathfinder School, Jodhpur Park.
Explaining the decrease in students who have scored above 90%, the watershed said it could be caused by the term integration of the term XI class in the results, because many students did not prepare the seasterier they did for the class XII Council exam.
In the 80% bracket to 89%, there were 49,370 this year against 84,746 years ago.
In 2019, this number has 47,759.
While HS students have a different advantage over those from other boards at reception UG last year, the principal of college felt there would be a level of playing this year.
“Chairs in Top College will go to the top 90% scorer.
This year, the number is more realistic than last year.
We will now wait and watch the results of the ISC and CBSE XII,” said the principal of the school, who was worried about some smart students who were Not only reached 10 ratings.
“We have sent our scores honestly and on time ago last year,” he said, showing that schools that had sent their class XI scores recently after the test was canceled and the formula was arranged, having advantages over others.
Unlike in Madhyamik, where all students have passed, 22,114 students did not succeed in HS.
Overall, 8.19,202 candidates have registered for the exam and 7.99,088 declared successful.
The percentage pass was 97.7% high, up from 86% last year.
The percentage of Pass Humanities, Science and Trade Flow respectively, 97.4%, 99.3% and 99.1%.
The Board was upset because nearly 1,000 schools in all states had not sent the value of class XI last year.
After the canceled exam and class XI marked the basis of the calculation of signs for HS, these schools rushed to send a sign.
“We were surprised to see that this calculation was full of errors and values had increased,” said Das, added, “We will take steps from these schools.
We have used our own expert committee to moderate this value.
We have stated the results Based on the sign calculated by us.
“If such a school does not receive a sign that has been upgraded and given to students, the principals are free to submit a review on July 26.
All schools are required to preserve the questionable xi answer scrip so they can be produced before the board if needed.
Candidates must see their signs on the designated website from the board starting at 16:00 and so on.
There is no reported interference.
The school will be able to collect their students from 11 am on Friday from 52 distribution centers.
Parents will be allowed to collect it.
