Kolkata: The Investigation Center Bureau (CBI) on Thursday submitted a Chargesheet in a case of violence after the poll in Birbhum Birbhum Barat – the first since being submitted to the probe to “cruel crime” by the Calcutta High Court – – said the source of agency.
According to sources, Chargesheet, submitted before the Rampurhat court, contained the names of the two accusers who were allegedly involved in the murder of a BJP worker, after the declaration of assembly elections on 2.
May 19, the Calcutta High Court had ordered the probe into the case of alleged murder and Rape is done by the CBI.
The West Bengal government has transferred the Supreme Court to challenge the orders of the High Court which directed the CBI investigation monitored by the court to these cases.
So far, the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has submitted a total of 34 shots against those allegedly involved in other cruelty murders or cruelty in BJP workers.
Meanwhile, sources said that the CBI official team visited the presidential prison house here, during the day, to interrogate the defendant held for the killing of other turmeric workers in the Kankurgachi area, shortly after the results of the poll was announced.
