Mumbai: Unmukt Chand, who has led India to the title of the U-19 World Cup victory but struggled to replicate his success at the senior level, on Friday announced retirement from all forms of the game.
Chand, 28, announced a decision on social media with a series of tweets and long records along with several unforgettable videos.
In all probabilities, Chand will play in the T20 league in the United States, like the World Cup U19 won the SMIT Patel team.
To compete there, he needs to announce his retirement because BCCI does not allow his registered player to compete in the Foreign T20 league.
