Srinagar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while overcoming party workers in Srinagar on Tuesday, saying that we demand full state recovery for Jammu and Kashmir and the revival of the democratic selection process here.
Rahul Gandhi was on a two-day tour to the Union region and was in Srinagar to inaugurate the new party office there.
“My family used to live in Allahabad and before that, they used to live here.
I haven’t had a lot here but I understand you a little.
I have a little kashmiriyat in me too,” Gandhi said.
He further stated that the power of J & K was brotherhood and their way of life and anyone who spread hatred would never be accepted by people here.
“Ghulam Prophet Azad Ji asked me to increase Kashmir’s problem in parliament.
But I want to say that we are not allowed to talk there.
There are many problems such as Pegasus, corruption and unemployment that I want to submit.
But we don’t want to be given the opportunity to talk,” said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
“Today, not just J & K but every state institution is like a court, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha who are being attacked.
The media is threatened and they are afraid to describe the truth.
The process of increasing JK possessed in the Congress regime has been seriously injured,” he added.
Gandhi further stated that he supported the recovery of full and free and fair elections in J-K and his office in Srinagar would be a new start for the party in the Union region.
“I will fight Narendra Modi and his ideology of violence and divide India.
I will fight hatred and fear.
Congress is a party that spreads love and peace.
I will immediately visit Jammu and Ladakh,” he said further.
