Washington: The United States has increased travel advisors for India, lowering it from the highest level 4, which means there is no trip, to level 3, which urges citizens to reconsider travel.
It also relieved recommendations travel in Pakistan from Level 4 to Level 3.
Increased travel advisors for India and Pakistan by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday attended the recognition of the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the region.
Disease Control and Prevention Center (CDC) has issued a level 3 travel health notice for India because of Covid-19, which shows the high level of Covid-19 in this country, the US State Department said on Monday.
“Your risk of contracting Covid-19 and develops severe symptoms may be lower if you are fully vaccinated with the FDA official vaccine.
Before planning any international travel, please review the CDC specific recommendations for vaccinated and not vaccinated travelers,” he said.
“Consider a trip to India because of Covid-19.
Exercise increases caution because of crime and terrorism,” he said.
The latest travel advisor replaces which was issued on May 5 which had placed India in the Level 4.
When advisor last month was released, India struggled with a second wave of pandemic with more than 3,00,000 new Koronavirus cases every day reported.

While CDC issued a level 2 travel health notice for Pakistan because Covid-19, showed a moderate pandemic level, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintained Level 3 risk for US citizens traveling to the country because of terrorism.
