‘We have wings’: paralympics off to start glittering in Tokyo

Tokyo: The opening ceremony of the Old Paralympic Games starts here on Tuesday, paying respect for the resilience of the athletes and gives a move to move in the midst of the unceasrent destruction due to the Pandemic Covid-19.
Paralympics have returned to Tokyo for the first time in 57 years, making the Japanese capital, the first city to host the game twice.

Before this, President of the International Paralympic Committee Andrew Parsons and the Japanese Emperor Naruhito was welcomed to the stadium after the Japanese flag was taken to the stage by six people including Kaori Icho, champion of Olympic-free style wrestling four times, a rescue worker.
This edition of the exhibition will display 4403 athletes that have been unprecedented.
The previous record was 4328 specified in the Rio 2016 game.
Tokyo Edition will have 2550 male athletes and 1853 women’s athletes are competing to the top award.
India is represented by the largest delegation of 54 athletes in competitions spread over 12 days.
