Mumbai: Reacting to Nana Patole’s statement that Congress will become the number one party in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut says that the Supreme Vikas Aghadi (Sena-NCP-Congress) tool is together, but not their respective parties.
Patole, who is the President of the Maharashtra Congress unit, at first the day stated that a number of people were “annoyed” with the progress of the party in the state.
“Congress is the main opposition party.
We will be happy if the influence of Congress increases.
Because it would mean that the BJP influence will go down.
So, what model and intention behind Nana Patole are speaking to research properly,” said Raut to Mediodpersons on Tuesday.
Maintaining his party’s attitude that there was no friction in the MVA government, Raut continued by saying, “If Patole Nana decided to work with the leadership of his party in the national capital, the influence of the Congress would rise throughout the country.
There is nothing wrong with it.” Raut Adding that the MVA government consists of three parties, all of whom want to lift their workers and supporters.
“Three parties are running the government.
We all want the progress of our own party.
In Maharashtra, we run a joint government, but we run their respective political parties individually,” he said.
Patole previously claimed that Shiv Sena and NCP guarded tabs in their movements.
However, he then retreated on it and instead said that his statement was misinterpreted and taken outside the context.
