Washington: As shipping more than 3.2 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine Johnson & Johnson to the Philippines.
The White House told the Associated Press Single-Shot Vaccine which was contributed to arriving in the Philippines this weekend through Covax, an international program coordinated sharing vaccines with low and medium-sized income countries.
This is one of the largest shipping installments in a developing US vaccine diplomatic campaign, with a nation that now shares around 50 million doses with the world.
More than 30 million doses are waiting for sending to other countries, waiting for regulatory and logistics permits.
The US will also buy 500 million doses of PFIZER to be shared globally in the coming year, with the first dose delivered in August.
