Ahmedabad: West Indies Pacer Alzarri Joseph on Sunday said it should put more on the board on the first Odi against India, which was lost by visitors with six goals, even though the field was difficult for bats.
“I just thought, we needed to print more, maybe 240-250 will be a more challenging total on the goal, but this is the first game (here) and we have two more games left in the series,” Joseph said at the conference Post-match press.
“So, we will only return to the drawing board and you know placing our plans on (place).” Driving a new white ball captain Rohit Sharma, fifty Indians defeated West Indies by six goals in the first ODI to lead 1-0 in the three-match series.

“It was very difficult, it was a pretty slow goal, friendly, so it didn’t really help me, but I just tried to do my efforts and put my best foot forward for the team,” I said.

Joseph also said that West Indies had a specific plan for certain batter treats.
“We have our team meeting and we have a special plan for specific batters, so we just bowling according to the plan,” he said, adding that batterst must try to spend more time on the fold to build partnerships.
