The United Nations: The United Nations supports the drive of Indian vaccination, which is the largest in the world, and the global body and its partners have reached around 600 million people in this country with a prevention and mitigation message of Coovid, a spokesman for UN Secretary General Antonerres has said.
Stephane Dujic, spokesman for Secretary General, at the press direction every day on Tuesday said the UN team in India led by the Coordinator of the Shombi Sharp continues to support the authority to curb the spread of the virus.
“Until now, we and our partners have reached around 600 million people in India with Covid prevention and mitigation messages.
We support Indian drive vaccination drives, which are the largest in the world,” Dujarric said.
“This includes developing strong monitoring and monitoring measures, increasing lab capacity, developing a response plan, procurement and distributing private protective equipment, training health care workers, and disseminates information that saves life,” Dujric said.
He said the UN team had worked to develop comprehensive risk communication and community involvement strategies, train more than 1.3 million health service workers in risk communication.
