Hyderabad: Socialite Shilpa Chowdary Allegedly provides fake gold jewelry and fake checks as collateral in return for the investment of Rs 2.90 Crore from Priyadarshini’s daughter from Veteran Tollyshini.
Socialite and her husband were arrested recently and there were three official cheating complaints, with a total of 7.05 crore Rs, including those by Priyadarshini.
After the money separated, Shilpa allegedly stopped receiving Priyadarshini’s telephone, police said.
Priyadarshini realized that he had been taken to ride August when he decided to recover his money by deactivating three guarantees and the bank told him that they were false, the police said.
“The bank’s authority did not accept checks and told him that they were fake,” said Narsesi police.
