Weekend Night: Delhi gets a mixed report card on day 1

New Delhi: The first day of the weekend hours in Delhi saw police troops who were harassed to handle people without real reasons to be on the streets, others paid a little attention to Covid requirements and many were arguing about why they came out of their homes, some Even asking the police to confirm co-passengers they were sick by checking their body temperature.
The police are generally soft with such people.
At the Chilla border, a man and his son claimed they came to Delhi from Agra for a medical examination, but when asked the name of the hospital they would ask and to show supporting documents, they could not do it.
In the rain, many vehicles march on the border, waiting to enter the capital.
Traffic officials impose them without valid documents to return from that point.
Some say they returned from night shifts at work, while others said they wanted to go to Chandigarh even though they did not have the required documents.
A police officer, who did not want to be named, said, “The announcement was made through various media about weekend hours, but countless people claimed not to realize it.
Many passed and documented to support their needs for fast driving to clean the queue, but There are other people who don’t need on the road that keeps us busy.
We can’t even approach them for the risk of infection.
“They returned the reasons offered as they were driving to have their cars served or to pick up relatives, etc.
The clerk was annoyed that people didn’t even put their masks properly despite two years of pandemic.
Police served many people who did not wear a mask.
A man at the Indian gate has an angry argument with the police, saying he was driving alone and did not need to wear a mask.
He was ordered but left to leave after he said he would pick up his doctor’s wife from Moradabad.
In India Gate, several cars stopped near the National War Memorial and the families were seen clicking Selfie.
There was a police picket nearby but most of the car had a free section even though the team was more than 12 police posted there because it was impossible for cars to be asked to take about the turn because this would cause traffic buildup.
In the Southeast Delhi section and Southeast Delhi, many people argue with the police when dealing with why they did not wear a mask.
“Apart from the severity of Covid infection, people still exchange words when you ask them to wear masks correctly or use them to cover their mouths and noses,” said a police officer at picked near Lajpat Nagar.
