Weekend restrictions put the perpetrators to prepare mysuru in a narrow place

Mysuru: The stakeholders of the hospitality industry are stuck between stones and a difficult place because of the weekend hours.
On the one hand, businesses almost bite dust and on the other hand, outstation employees plan to return home.
It has placed the hotel manager in a narrow place.
Because all their efforts in finding relaxation from night hours at least within the city limits have been in vain.
With CM Basilvaraj Bommai ruled out the relaxation of the weekend lockdown in MySuru, the situation had become unfair for travelers.
They calm their outstation employees by saying things will soon return to normal.
“There isn’t much we can do.
We have to grin and bear it,” said Bharat D, a Hoteler.
“First of all, we don’t have a business and second, we have to pay for our outstation employees,” he added.
“Things looked normal as soon as the lock was appointed a month again.
We called almost a dozen employees from West Bengal by ordering flight tickets after the hotel was allowed to operate.
The joy was short-lived.
More than 50% of businesses for hotels and restaurants occurred during weekends and doors The cover during the weekend was unimaginable for a businessman, “said the youth examiner.
Shivaram, an operating manager in a city hotel, said the steps suddenly to wear weekend lockdown had hit the hotel business hard.
“We will suspend calling employees from outside because it causes a heavy burden on them.
We must give around two dozen employees three times a day and accommodation even though there is almost no business,” he said.
Pavithra Mehta, a hotel employee from West Bengal, said there was no job for him.
He has a lot of free time because the hotel hardly gets customers after locking.
Two years into the industry, like many other employees, he was worried about his career progress given the applicable situation.
Most star hotels prefer employees from North India and northeast because they are available to work throughout the year, unlike workers from the south, which often miss work that leaves the rooms.
The locking and curfew induced pandemic has left the hotel with a sticky situation.
