Weeklong Kullu Dussehra starts with RATH YATRA

Kullu: Traditional Weeklong Dussehra has begun in Kullu on Friday after rolling from the Lord Raghunath train in Dhalpur Dussehra Ground.
More than 200 Dewa Talanquin, along with thousands of followers took part in the festival.
The Dussehra Committee has sent invitations to 332 gods through SDMS and Tehsildars.
The gods first paid their respect for Lord Raghunath, serving the god of celebrations and doing important rituals, besides taking part in Rath Yatra.
The large crowd of worshipers, including tourists, Kullu attacked to witness the rankings of this cultural and religious festival.
The celebration starts from the Kullu royal palace, where the royal family is dressed in traditional clothing doing rituals and Lord Raghunath idols taken to Rath Ground for Yatra.
Although, commercial activities are not allowed in Dussehra this year, thousands of people packed Dhalpur Dussehra Ground to witness “Dev Maha-Kumbh”.
To prevent Covid-19 from the spread, the KULLU government has adopted a few strict steps.
Whether it’s the priest, Kardar or follower of God, everyone is asked to do a final vaccination before entering Dussehra Ground.
Visitors from other states are also not permitted, unless they produce a final vaccination certificate or negative RT-PCR reports.
The entire Full Valley will echo with the Divine Drum and Trumpet music for seven days and all gods will camp here until October 21.
Last year, Rath Yatra had only eight gods because of a pandemic.
On Friday, the police struggled to manage the crowd.
In accordance with tradition, Talanin Hylamba Devi and Bijli Mahadev spread a crowd and made a road for the train.
The train was pulled from Rath’s land to the lower soil where he would rest for six days.
On the seventh day, the train will be pushed to the edge of the Beas river to do the final ritual and then will return to Rath’s land.
Unlike other parts of the country, it was efficient not burned in the dussehra kullu.
It was marked in Kullu by gathering their gods, prayers, procession and religious ceremonies.
Thousands of tourists and undergraduate research from all over the world are also brought to Kullu to witness a unique blend of culture, tradition, religion and people’s art.

Thousands of traders from many countries are also used to do business that are fast here for a month to Diwali, but this year commercial activities are not allowed to avoid crowding from Dussehra Ground.
Also, international people’s dance competitions and other programs will not be held.
Himachal Governor Pradesh Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the Dussehra celebration by turning on Diyas.
Commissioner Deputy Kullu Ashutosh Garg said, “Nakas has been placed at all points of entry into the Dussehra Ground to ensure people have received a dose or they carry a negative RPCR report.
Three Covid-19 vaccination kiosks have been established by the Ministry of Health in Venue.” According to historians, according to historians, Lord Raghunath’s idol was taken to Kullu from Ayodhya in 1651 when the king of Jagat Singh was the ruler of the state of Kullu.
Dussehra’s celebration at Kullu began after 1660 when the king invited all the gods before Lord Raghunath.
People here are still following the same habits.
Kullu Dussehra was declared an international festival in 1972.
