Weekly complaint meeting to continue from Wednesday

Coimbatore: City Corporation Commissioner King Gopal Sunkara on Saturday launched a plan to continue the weekly complaint meeting in zonal offices from Wednesday by following all Covid-19 protocols.
Participants must wear face masks mandatory and maintain social distance through the process, he said.
The weekly complaint meeting was stopped last year after the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
The first meeting will take place at the East Zone office, where the population can meet corporate commissioners with their complaints, which will be resolved in a time of bound time.
Corporate officials said the meeting would be held between 10:30 a.m.
and 12:00.
“People can produce property tax related to complaints, trade licenses, street lights, drinking water connections, underground drainage connections, lack of drinking water and public health.” While complaints will be held at the Central Zone office on Friday, west of North and South Zone offices, the meeting will be held on the following Wednesday.
The official said while the weekly zone complaint meeting was stopped last year, they were looking for residents to send their complaints on the phone and contact them by telephone.
“Many have sent e-mails and wrote their complaints to corporate commissioners.” He said the state government had gave a nod to hold a complaint meeting after a decline in the case of fresh Covid-19 and the increasing number of people who were vaccinated.
“All officials related to the zone will be available at a complaint meeting.
Therefore, residents can find a quick recovery from many problems.
However, satisfying demands like putting a new path will take time.”
