Weekly TPR in 15 dists above 10% although steep fall in the case

Bhubaneswar: Despite the decline in daily infection, the level of testing of the test (TPR) in 15 of the 30 countries continues to remain more than 10% over the past week, the data distributed by the unification of the Ministry of Health and family welfare revealed.
Khurda, with weekly TPR 29.63%, in addition to Balalasore (21.78%), Sundargarh (20.56%), rigidity (17.84%), balangir (14.30%), nayagarh (14%), keonjhar (13.82%), Angul (13.74)%), Cuttack (13.30%), Rayaganada (13.28%), Nuabada (12.81%), JagatsingHpur (11.65%), gajapati ( 11.33%), Mayurbhanj (11.11%) and Sonepur (10.29%) are between 407 districts in countries that report more than 10% of TPRs from January 20 to January 26.
TPR in 14 other districts here, except Ganjam, varies from five to 10%.
The TPR weekly at Ganjam remains only 2.3%.
Ganjam has 468 active cases.
The TPR average state is around 10% compared to the national average of 17.75%.
Jayant Panda, government technical adviser in Covid-19, said, “TPR will fall gradually because Odisha has crossed the peak of the third wave and has been a court in case one day since then.
From 11,607 new cases on January 19, the number has dropped by around 50 %.
In mid-February, new infections and TPR will fall dramatically.
The situation increases quite fast.
“The state added 5,901 new infections in the last 24 hours.
With 10,000 people cured every day, the total active case of the country fell to 70,327, which was the lowest since January 16 when less than 70,000.
Four Khurda Regency (25,186), Sundargarh (5,529), Cuttack (4204) and Balalasore (2597) contributed more than 50% of active cases and were in ‘red zone’ (each of which had more than 2,501 active cases).
Like on Wednesday night, 1,517 patients were hospitalized.
About 40% of patients treated at the hospital (594) are in the field of critical care: intensive care units or high dependency units.
A total of 93 patients experienced ventilator support.
Eighteen more gave up on infection in the last two days – 10 reported on Wednesday and eight on Thursday – took the death toll officially to 8,550.
