New Delhi: Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday welcomed the Chairman of the Sharad Pawar NCP that three agricultural laws did not need to be fully rejected and vice versa must be quiet to remove the parts of “unpleasant”.
Pawar on Thursday suggested that there must be dialogue between central unions and farmers and the central government must lead to end the deadlock.
Reacting to his remarks, Tomar said he wanted to tell him that the center agreed to what he said and had, in fact, held 11 rounds of talks with farmers with this “mindset”.
“I welcome the stand,” said Tomar Ani.
He added, “The central government hopes that this issue will be resolved through discussions and agitation ends and all farmers return to their homes.
The government is willing to reconsider with an open mind of a problem that seems problematic.” The government has maintained this view since it offers the implementation of law.
Invite delayed for 18 months and resolved the problem through talks in January.
