Canning: Three allegations of kidnappers have been arrested and hostages have been saved in the West Bengal Bengal Parganas district, police said on Sunday.
Law enforcers traced the kidnappers and conducted rescue operations in magrives in the Joynagar police station area on Saturday night, said an officer.
A man was kidnapped near the Krishnamohan train station on September 2 while he went to justice for some work, he said.
The kidnappers then called his family and demanded Rs 2 lakh as a ransom, the officer said, added that a manhunt was launched to catch the trio’s hand accused.
