Kolkata: Belur Mathematics, Ramakrishna’s mission headquarters who have been closed since April, will be reopened on August 18.
This was decided at the highest level.
Announcement awaited.
Some restrictions have lined up.
All people entering Bellur’s math must carry evidence of double vaccination; It hasn’t got their second shot, or even the first, must bring a RT-PC negative report conducted within 72 hours earlier.
“We reopen, but with many restrictions.
Every Devotee Vaccination Certificate / RT-PCR report will be checked at the gate.
We don’t want to completely compromise,” Swami Suvirandada, Secretary General of the RKM.
“All monks and Sevaks in battered math have been vaccinated.” The worshipers must also carry a photo ID card received by the government with them, such as Aadhar, PAN or voter cards.
The campus will open twice, once from 8 am to 11:00 to 4pm to 5.45.
Visitors must walk in the file with a fixed route to the main temple, Brahmananda Mandir, Sarada Mandir and Vivekananda only.
