NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has transferred the Supreme Court demanding the Calcutta high court’s refusal for submitting affidavits by state and her regulation minister Moloy Ghatak in their function on the afternoon of arrest of four Trinamool Congress leaders on May 17 from the CBI in connection with the Narada sting cassette instance.
A seat of justices Hemant Gupta along with Aniruddha Bose will soon be hearing the different appeals filed from the chief minister, Ghatak and West Bengal authorities on Tuesday.
Before, the best court had stated it would listen on June 22 that the appeal filed by Ghatak.

The special CBI court had granted them bail on May 17 itself, however, the arrangement was stayed by the high court, which remanded them to judicial custody.
They were put under house arrest May 21 from the large court, changing its earlier arrangement of remain on the bond.
The Narada sting operation was conducted by author Mathew Samuel of Narada News, an internet portalsite, in 2014 wherein a few folks resembling TMC ministers, MPs and MLAs were spotted getting funds from representatives of a fictitious business instead of favours.
At that moment, the four detained politicians were ministers from the Mamata Banerjee authorities.
The sting operation was made public before their 2016 assembly elections in West Bengal.
