PANAJI: The Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee will arrive at Goa on Thursday for Threrhery’s visit to the state, where the assembly poll is scheduled for early next year.
“Minister Bengal West Bengal is scheduled to arrive at Goa at around 5:30 a.m.
on October 28,” TMC spokesman said on Wednesday.
This is his first visit to the coastal state, where TMC decided to oppose the assembly selection due in February 2022, he added.
“During his visit, Banerjee will meet with intellectuals, thinkers, professionals and others,” he said.
Banerjee will leave Goa on October 30 morning, he added.
Trinamool, however, did not share with the media schedule for detailed party heads in Goa.
The Banerjee-LED party, who swept the election of the Bengal Assembly earlier this year, announced his decision to oppose the coming Goa poll.
Last week, Banerjee urged political parties, organizations and individuals to join his party in defeating the powerful BJP and “split agenda”.
