Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Thursday extended the Covid-19 limit in the state until August 15.
The government also announced relaxation in existing norms.
Buses, taxis and autorickshaw have been allowed to operate with a capacity of 50 percent.
Government and private offices can also function with half workforce.
Restrictions, enforced on May 16, was last extended until July 30.
“Every violation of restriction steps will be responsible for continuing the provisions of the disaster management law, 2005 and the relevant parts of the IPC,” the command was stated.
