West Bengal extends Covid-19 to January 31 boundaries; Allow exhibitions, wedding functions

Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Saturday extended the ongoing Covid-19 limitations until January 31, allowing open exhibitions in a very limited way with strict compliance with safety norms, official orders.
The state government also allows marriage functions with a maximum of 200 participants or 50 percent of the venue capacity, which is lower, he said.

All outdoor activities including the movement of people and vehicles will be very banned between 10 nights and 5 in the morning except for health, law and order, transportation of important commodities including agricultural products, and other emergency services.
The order asked the district administration, police and local authorities to ensure strict compliance with direction.
