Kolkata: Given the commemoration of experts about the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, the West Bengal government on Wednesday extended ongoing restrictions until July 30, but also announced certain relaxation.
Metro train services are permitted to continue operations with 50 percent seating capacity on weekdays, government booking words.
Local train services, however, will continue to be suspended except staff special trains.
Restrictions, enforced on May 16, was last extended until July 15.
The order states that the public bus, taxis, autorickshaws have been allowed to operate with a capacity of 50 percent.
Offices, both government and private, are also permitted to function with half of labor, he said.
Gymnasium and parror beauty can also operate with a power of 50 percent from 11am to 6pm.
Only 50 people will be allowed to attend social meetings such as marriage.
Vegetable markets can remain open from 6am to noon, Ordo said.
