The Department of Food & Supplies, the West Bengal government has launched a special WhatSAPP chatbot to make it easier for citizens to submit a ration card, submit complaints and get access to other critical resources.
Chatbot also helps farmers with verified information relating to the procurement related to rice.
Free bots for use and available in English and Bengali.
Chatbot aims to help 10 crore-plus recipients of rations in West Bengal state.
“Chatbot is built with full service capabilities and eliminates the needs of people to visit the Ration’s office directly to get their questions intended or send requests.
Bots are easy to use and built with resources such as the Ration Card Application Form, application tracking, which connects to Aadhar, Guide about Paddy scheduling, etc., “said the company in a statement.
