Kolkata: Covid-19 Tally West Bengal rose to 15,70,539 on Saturday because 761 more people were tested positive for infection, while nine new deaths pushed victims to 18,815, a bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health.
Kolkata reported 149 new cases and 24 North Parganas District 124, stated.
Two fresh fatality each is recorded in the city and 24 North Parneras.
West Bengal currently has 7,580 active cases, while 15,44,144 people have recovered from the disease so far, including 743 in the last 24 hours.
The recovery rate reached 98.32 percent and the level of progress of 1.81 percent.
More than 1.82 crore samples have been tested so far, including 42,027 since Friday, added bulletins.
As many as 5.83 crores, people have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine in the state.
On Saturday, the state manages Jab with a total of 6,40,845 people.
