West Bengal, not Gujarat, is a growth model: MAMATA

Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee, into his term as chairman of the minister, on Wednesday exhibited the Bengal Development Model and urged the state to replicate, in contrast to four times Gujarat CM Narendra Modi using the Kutch industrial growth as an exhibition for the development of the state before becoming the Prime Minister of 2014.
Bengal West CM, during his speech to the supporters of the Trinamool Congress and opposition leaders who have gathered at the Constitutional Club in Delhi to listen to his speech, against the Modi Top-Down Growth Approach with the alternative “Cash Benefit Transfer” at grassroots, claiming how it works during a Covid Pandemic , “Bengal is a model and not Gujarat.
We have all seen what happened to Gujarat,” Banerjee said.
He has described the Bengal’s approach during the state budget discussion.
“Our approach is to increase demand for grassroots that can take care of the supply line,” Banerjee said.
The center, he argues, provides concessions for large businesses to energize supply, which does not occur as expected.
CM touched the elements of the inclusive growth route that took underprivileged on the board when making a development plan.
“Instead of helping poor people and unemployed, they spend public money for spyware,” he said and added that Bengal was the only country that gave all the rations.
“We provide free allotations to people from our country.
There is no state in this country.
Our Sathi Swasthya scheme provides health protection to a population that is far greater than Ayushman Bharat.
Free maintenance at the State Government Hospital,” said Banerjee , The company reaped a rich dividend in the assembly polls recently concluded, thwarting an unhindered attack by PM Modi and his council of his minister.
He showed off several state schemes for girls and women, from Kanyashree to Lakshmir Bhandar, and Rs 10 Lakh credit cards for students and 10,000 Rs support for each farmer regardless of their ownership, to take care of disadvantaged.
“Responsive governance, unity, harmony, development, prosperity – Instead of dividing on behalf of religion and caste, supervision of people – is the basic elements of our development route,” CM said.
While his political opponents are obtained the approach as “Dole Politics”, Banerjee argues how this approach has helped reduce poverty in Bengal.
“People who live below the poverty line have fallen below 40%,” he said.
CM also captures the opportunity to show that the Government of Bengal does not lose income due to the policy of “pro-people”.
Overcoming former Finance Minister Union P Chidambaram, who listened to his speech, Banerjee said: “Mr.
Chidambaram knew very well about the debt we were inherited when we came to power.
Our own generation in 2011 was Rs 21,000 Crore.
Has risen more than Rs 75,000 Crore now, though There is a debt service burden.
